ErUm-Scientists at the Expert Workshop "Environment for Interoperable Data Analysis"
How can data be acquired, stored, accessed and analyzed in ErUM? And can a collective understanding be created? ErUM scientists discussed these questions at the expert workshop in Berlin on May 3 and 4.
In order not to lose access to an ever-growing and rapidly increasing flood of data, a common strategy is needed that requires the commitment of scientists from ALL ErUM communities - and this is exactly where our workshop "Environment for Interoperable Data Analysis" aims at.
In exciting discussions, the motivated participants identified general prerequisites for this and jointly analyzed strategic synergies for the next generation of the "Interoperable Data Analysis Environment". So we can look back to a successful workshop.
Our sincere thanks go to all participants for their commitment, to the DIG-UM Topic Board User Interface for the great organization and to the key note speakers Verena Kain (CERN), Mohammad Al-Turany (GSI/FAIR), Kai Polsterer (HITS) and Niclas Eich (RWTH Aachen) for their inspiring input.
